As the cost of dental care continues to increase, along with the list of people waiting to join the few NHS dental practices still accepting new patients, many people are now look at dental insurance as a viable route to speedy treatment. Is it economical and is it worth it?
There is no doubt that the NHS dental service is on its knees with a massive increase in the number of patients, and an even larger increase in cost. The plans offer not only an insurance against the rising cost of treatment but they also give the patient a peace of mind, and the knowledge that they will be able to arrange private treatment which will be covered by the insurance.
As time progresses the NHS seems to be coming under more and more pressure, and despite the billions of pounds poured in, the sector is really struggling. Many countries of the world insist on health insurance for all of the population, with the US one of he main culprits. Some market observers expect further regulations and tax incentives for the UK, to encourage people to take out health insurance.
