3 Eco Friendly Products Which Look Good And Will Save You Money

While there is no shortage of “green” products on the market, we have found 3 eco friendly products which look good and will save you money. Slightly more obscure than your long lasting light bulb, or automatic refuse filter, you may find the following items fun and useful :-

Fruit Powered Clock

This is one for the kids, an “electric” clock powered by a fruit, and no power supply.

The clocks have been on the market for some time, but are becoming more and more popular. They use one of the most basic of principles of electricity production which involves copper and zinc components (which are hidden from view) and “acid” which is produced by the fruit. When these three elements come together you have sufficient power to run a simple “digital” clock - and you can change the look with different fruits!

Electricity-Free Espresso Machine

The espresso coffee machine has become more and more popular over recent times, with many homes in the UK having some kind of espresso system. Recently we have seen a new system introduced to the market , called the “Presso”, which works by using the steam from the hot water supply. This allows the machine to build up sufficient pressure from the steam alone and then squeeze the water through your coffee supply, and into a lovely mug of espresso coffee.

The Eco Kettle

The eco kettle has quickly become very popular in many areas of the UK, especially with some of the larger families. While it looks like an ordinary kettle, and acts like an ordinary kettle, it allows you to fill the kettle full and then choose how many cups of water you require. The kettle will then calculate how much water is required, and only boil that specific amount - hence saving on water which is boiled but not used!

These are just three of the many products now coming onto the market.
