Further Delays In The Case Against NatWest

Solicitor Tom Brennan has accused NatWest of injustice, abuse of power and unlawful conduct over the amount of overdraft fees charged by the banking giant. While Mr Brennan has actually made it to court this time (after various delaying tactics by NatwWest) and been allowed to detail his claims, the court case has yet again been adjourned until a later date.

Home Information Packs - Help Or Hindrance?

As from the 1st June, any properties for sale in either England or Wales will need to have a Home Information Pack (HIP) before the property can be marketed. There will be a maximum 14 day period from the day a seller decides to put their home on the market to the day when they can actually begin to market the property. At £600 for a pack they are by no means cheap!

OFT To Investigate “Free” Banking

While many consumer groups have welcomed the Office Of Fair Trading’s (OFT) investigation into the banking sector, and the supposed “free” banking offered to all private customers, others believe it is playing into the hands of the industry.
